How do I apply my press ons with glue?

To apply your press ons, first start with clean, dry hands. Pro tip: apply them at night before bed so that they’re not exposed to water for longer!

Push your cuticles, buff your nail plate, & dehydrate your nailbed with the provided alcohol wipe. Once you wipe it with alcohol, try to avoid touching your nail to prevent oils from affecting the bond.

Apply the provided nail glue to your nail & the back of the press on, and apply the press on at a 45° angle starting at your cuticle.

Carefully hold the nail in place for 20-30 seconds until bonded. Be careful not to get your finger stuck! Repeat for all nails. Voila!

Avoid water for at least two hours after applying nails for best retention!

Did you know that you can gently soak off your press on set to re-wear them?

To do this, you will need:

bowl of warm water
oil (olive, coconut, avocado, etc.)
dawn dish soap
cuticle pusher

Add soap and oil to your warm water bowl.

I recommend you to put on your favorite show or podcast while doing this next step! -> Soak your nails in the soapy mixture for about 25-30 minutes, gently lifting the edges of your nails with a cuticle pusher every few minutes. If they don't come off easily, soak for a bit longer, and repeat the process.

REMOVING YOUR PRESS ONS SHOULD NOT HURT OR FEEL LIKE PRESSURE WHEN REMOVING. IF IT HURTS, IT’S NOT READY TO COME OFF YET, SOAK LONGER! Forcing them off could cause serious damage to your nail. They should come off with little to no resistance. Patience is key!

Once they come off, you can use your cuticle pusher to scrape off most of the softened glue from the back of the press on. You can also file it off once dry with an e-drill if you have one.

Buff and clean your nails, don’t forget to apply some cuticle oil or hand cream, and you’re all done!

How do I apply my press ons with sticky tabs?

Sticky tabs are perfect for short-term wear, like for a photoshoot!

First, you need to push your cuticles, buff your nail plate, & dehydrate your nailbed with the provided alcohol wipe. Once you wipe it with alcohol, try to avoid touching your nail to prevent oils from affecting the bond.

Then, choose the correct size adhesive tab for each nail.

Apply the tab firmly to your natural nail, peel off the protective film, and press the press-on nail onto the tab. Press firmly and hold for 10 seconds to ensure a secure bond. Repeat for all nails.

To remove, soak your nails in warm soapy water for 10 minutes & use cuticle pusher to gently lift the edges until the sticky tabs lose their glue. If it hurts, STOP! Soak until they basically pop off on their own.

Avoid getting water on them while wearing these! The glue tabs will lose stickiness.

How do I remove my press ons I applied with sticky tabs?

All sales are final. I do not offer returns, exchanges or offer refunds for any orders, as each set is custom sized and hand painted to order. You are responsible for ensuring that you size your nails correctly with the sizing kit sent before creating your order. Thank you for understanding!

First, browse the shop to find your favorite sets or create a custom set, and checkout.

Once you check out, I will automatically send you a sizing kit in your requested shape/length. All clients will receive a FREE sizing kit shipped to them after placing their first order, or if they are changing to a new shape/length from previous orders.

Sizing kit will be shipped to you within 3 business days after placing your order. Once it arrives, follow the instructions to find your perfect sizes. Once you send your sizes back, I begin working on your set!

For custom orders, once you place your order, email PressedByTabbi@gmail.com or DM me @PressedByTabbi on Instagram with your order number & details about your requested design to begin a consult for your custom set! During the consult phase, I also create a rough sketch of your design (please allow me up to 2 days) and send to you for final approval before beginning your custom set. You may choose to receive a finished photo of your set after completion or choose to be surprised!

Sizing kit tips are numbered! Ensure that your nails are bare (no gel polish, no acrylics) and gently press each tip size to each nail to determine your sizing. You're looking for the most accurate fit from sidewall to sidewall.

If you are in-between sizes, size up! You can use the provided nail file to file down the sides of your press on to make it a perfect fit.

For wearable sizing kits, you will see the numbers imprinted into the backs of the press ons. Follow the same steps to determine your sizes.

To submit your sizes for your order, please follow the instructions on the back of your sizing kit. If you have issues submitting your sizing kit photo online, you can also email it to me at PressedByTabbi@gmail.com.

I include a free sizing kit with all first time orders, and also if you are changing shapes/length for a new set. I highly recommend getting your sizing kit and finding your sizes that way, as it is the most accurate way to size your nails. I do not use the coin or tape method anymore as they are less accurate. Thank you for understanding!

If you are changing to a new shape or length, I will send you a FREE sizing kit in that new requested size.

The reason for this is that shapes and lengths may vary slightly between sizes, so your sizes in "short almond" may not translate directly to the same sizes in "long almond".

Ex: a 00 in Après natural short almond is 14.5 mm wide, but a 00 in Après natural long almond is 13 mm.

For this reason, I highly recommend getting resized for every shape/length change to ensure your perfect sizes stay perfectly sized!

For returning clients that do not care to get resized & just want me to start your order, I can manually review your requested shape/length and match them as closely to your sizes on file as possible, but they may not be 100% accurate. In the event that there is not a true size match, you may be sized up for that nail. If sized up, you can file down the bottom to fit. If you are ordering from me for the first time but already know your specific sizes for your requested shape/length in Après Natural, you can opt out of receiving a free sizing kit if you want me to just get right to making your set (Sizing kits can take up to 7-10 days to get to you).

I still highly recommend receiving a sizing kit, but if you are already certain of your Après Natural sizes in your desired shape/length and wish to skip that step, reach out to me at PressedByTabbi@gmail.com or DM me @PressedByTabbi on Instagram within 24 hours of ordering to let me know. You are aware that you are opting out of receiving a sizing kit and take full responsibility for sending your correct sizes.

Orders are completed and shipped within 10-14 business days from receiving your sizes. Custom Orders in tier 3 may require additional processing time due to level of artwork requested, but that would be communicated early on during consultation!

If you are in a rush, expedited services may be available for a fee. Please reach out to me @PressedByTabbi on Instagram before placing an order so I can try to accommodate you.

For first time clients, after you place your first order, you will receive a free sizing kit in your requested shape/length before I begin your order. Sizing kit process takes between 3-7 business days. Use the sizing kit to find your perfect sizes, follow the instructions on your kit to send them, and I will begin creating your order!

Returning clients that are changing shape/length will also receive a FREE sizing kit in their new requested shape/length. If you don't want a new sizing kit sent for your new shape or length change, message me within 24 hours after placing your order. I can convert your sizes manually, but they may not be 100% true to your sizes. I highly recommend getting resized after changing shape/length.

Why does my set look shorter/longer on my hands than on yours? As everybody's nail beds are different, a certain length press on nail may look different on you than on someone else. Sizing kits are sent to all clients for FREE in the shape/length of their set ordered. Additionally, a new sizing kit will be sent if you are changing shape/lengths. You may opt out of receiving additional sizing kits if you do not want to be resized, but shapes and lengths may vary between sizes. I highly recommend getting resized every time you switch shapes/lengths for the most consistent fit.

Delivery Issues: You will receive a tracking number for your order once it is ready to ship. Once a package leaves my hands and enters the postal system, I am not liable for any issues with shipping or delivery. Please ensure that your delivery address is 100% correct before ordering, as you are responsible for providing an accurate address for delivery.

Shipping Delays: Please use the provided tracking number with your order to check where your package currently is and to find out the estimated delivery date. Unfortunately, I have no control over the shipping speed once I've handed the package over to the carrier.

Damaged/Defective: I have yet to experience any issues (knock on wood), but if you receive your set and it is destroyed in the mail, please email me at info@pressedbytabbi.com or DM me @PressedByTabbi on Instagram with your order number, photos of the damage, and any relevant information within 3 days of receiving your order, and I will work with you to resolve.

Lost/Stolen: I am not responsible for lost or stolen orders. Every order is shipped with tracked and insured shipping. In the event that your order is lost/stolen (hopefully this never happens), please reach out to your mail carrier directly to file a claim.
